Bibbo School

In 2013, Steve Sanchez visited a small community called Bibbo.   A minister and his wife, Mama Agnes, had built some very rough school rooms for this community in the early 2000’s and then began one of two proposed permanent school buildings and church in 2012. In April of that year, Agnes’s husband was brutally murdered.  Agnes has been committed to carrying on the vision of providing education and a ministry to this community. When he met her in 2013 she was teaching in another community and using all her salary to pay for the teacher’s and expenses of the Bibbo school project.  He learned that for just $6,500 the one school building and church could be completed and went home dedicated to raising that money.  It only took one month and some very generous friends to come along side him and it was funded.

Shortly after, he discovered the need for an additional building which would complete the school and he committed to raising those funds.

In May of of 2014 he was able to return to Bibbo for the dedication of the church and school building. God has continued to provide for Bibbo and there are now 3 school buildings, a well and a play ground. There is also a new dormitory in construction for students in Primary 7.

Help us get a rooftop water tank for Bibbo!

It is our hope for 2019 to be able to provide Bibbo with a rooftop water tank. If you would like to partner with us on that, you can donate here, select “Bibbo school” and enter “Water tank” in comments.
